Father's Day Music
My little lady does a great job of giving gifts! She, however, is the best gift; with out her, I would not be a father! So, if any ya'll like old time music check these guys....
If ya'll like some 'reel' good jams check these folks out...
Birthdays and other special occasions are the times we normally will receive new music thus making the time a little more special.
This music really is powerful to us and literally strikes a cord! Baby-doll thank you so much for the music and other treats! Love always, Big Daddy.

American Legion Bike Show: Conclusion
Since I had the whole day to enjoy, I took advantage of the clear, dry, and hot afternoon to meander back to the ranch. I purposely did not follow any specific road, instead I opted to travel in a cardinal direction without using any major roads or highways. And for the most part, I did and quickly found myself deep in Black Bumper/Gray Top Land...
The English were out in the fields and on the road....
Folks kept mistaking me for a celebrity...
...and I believe I will attain that status once this t-shirt arrives; the Southern charm will be oozing all over the place! Look out XX Man! So, Ole Girl and I dodged the scooters, buggies, bicycles, black-bumper-cages and decided that a lunch break was in order at one of the Mennonite Wal-Marts where I was in fact accosted by two different women while I was minding my own business, trying to enjoy my pretzels and water...
Ole Girl and I lit out for the ranch dodging tar-snakes and road-gators. I ignored my personal safety and snapped this picture of Ole Girl's odometer....
...taken on the fly as I attempted to down-shift, brake and stop for the stop sign that was quickly filling up in my eyesight....We did not wreck and we both made it back in one piece with all of our digits and parts!

Sturgis 2008: "Needles"
Needles Highway is a 'must do' ride in the Black Hills; somehow I made a wrong turn in 2009 and we missed it!

Touring With The Family
After a five day family camping trip to Virginia, I safely returned home with the family late this afternoon; no fist-fights, arrests, wrecks, no long awkward moments of silence in the F.A.V. and only one trip to the Staunton Urgent Care...quite the tour! Family camping was successful and confidence is high for our epic family road trip in August! Speaking of touring and epic, I'm thinking about hard bags for Ole Girl...nothing like a major undertaking before a big road trip!
